Welcome to my li'l world!
Ps: I am extremely sorry for the long wait, but I am glad you are here. :)
Hi, I believe we haven’t met. Even if we have, I would like to introduce myself again.
I am Oishee, and I honestly don’t know how to describe myself, so I will get the obvious stuff out of our way and then see how we go from there.
I identify as cis-gendered woman and my pronouns are she/her. I am a 22 year old introvert. I am currently pursuing my Masters in English Literature while working as a Junior Copywriter. I have been writing for as long as I can remember and it has been one of the things that defines me as a person. I am not the most confident when it comes to my writing (or anything else in general), one of the reasons as to why I almost abandoned this endeavour, but well, here I am and I hope this blog/rambling/whatever you want to call it manages to get published.
I like to read, listen to music and people talk about life, places, things and the world in general, but I am more comfortable penning things down.
When I started this, I was almost a graduate (cough.. Thank you Corona..). And in my pursuit of figuring out life post college, I had left one of my closest friends behind, that is my books. I don’t remember how and when, but books and the worlds they came with became my friends when I needed companionship the most. They opened up worlds for me in a manner that I don’t think anything/ anyone else can. During the lockdown, I realised how unfamiliar that feeling had become. So I started this newsletter to merge both of my passions. And then like any other lazy procrastinator, I put it on hold. Then life happened, I got sick for a long time, started a job and a lot of other stuff. But this remained somewhere in the back of my mind.
But now I am back and hopefully will make this place my home of ramblings, rants and friendships. I will be posting about the books I read and the shows/movies I watch or have watched in the past. I hope to expand in the future, but this is where I will begin for now.
If you have read it till here, I cannot tell you how happy that makes me.
Here’s to reading, writing and a new/old friendship!
Cheers!
I hope you stay safe and healthy.
Oishee
Ps: Thank you for signing up, it means the world to me. :)
